Harlan will wait until last minute

At one point in his recruitment Columbia (S.C.) Spring Valley linebacker Josh Harlan was talking to plenty of schools from around the Southeast. But as his focus shifted to his senior season recruiting went to the back burner. Now he's hoping things will pick back up again.
In addition to several FCS schools, Harlan is also talking to the coaches and Middle Tennessee and reestablishing what had been a good relationship during the summer.

"It kind of died down while the season was going on," Harlan said. "After the season things have picked back up a little bit. I'm just trying to stay patient and wait for that chance."
With official visits already set for Jan. 17 and Jan. 24 to FCS schools, Harlan said he's leaving a window open for a late trip, perhaps to MTSU.
In the meantime, Harlan, who played in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas last week and recorded one tackle, said he will hold out until the last minute.
"That's the plan," he said. "Hopefully I'll hear from some more schools so I'm waiting to see what's going to happen."
