Harlan hoping for more interest

Columbia (S.C.) Spring Valley prospect Josh Harlan has mostly mid-major looks right now but he is hoping things pick up this summer.
Harlan has an offer from Memphis and he is had that for a while. He performed well for the Tigers and bolstered his position on their recruiting board. That is a good thing for Harlan, as Memphis is one of his favorites.

The other schools at the top of his list are Appalachian State and Coastal Carolina, the other schools that have recruited him hardest to date.
Harlan, 5-foot-10 and 192 pounds, could play fullback in college but he said most schools are actually recruiting him as a defensive prospect and possibly even a linebacker. Size could be an issue for bigger programs, but he wants a chance.
"On [June] 24 I'll go to the Appalachian State camp," he said. "I did really good at Memphis. I was pleased with my performance. I really like the main teams that have been recruiting me the hardest. That's who I've been hearing from the most. That's who has been really recruiting me. I'm hearing from Georgia Southern too."
Ranked the No. 4 fullback in the nation by Rivals.com, Harlan had also attended the Memphis spring game earlier this year.
He does not have a timetable for his decision and did not indicate if one school is standing out above the others.
