Hargrave WR takes UVA official

The Virginia Cavaliers hosted a handful of official visitors this weekend. One of those came from Chatham (Va.) Hargrave Military Academy in 6-foot-3, 200-pound recever Dayon Arrington.
"I just got back this afternoon," he said. "I liked it a lot. I really liked the coaches, players and I like the surroundings there. It's not too far from home and I've got family around. I really liked it."

Arrington got to Charlottesville on Friday in the late afternoon.
"Once I got there, I went out to eat and then hung out with some of the players and chilled," he said. "I had two hosts, Kris Burd and Kevin Ogletree.
"They were really cool. I felt like I was already apart of the team being around them. They didn't treat us like outcasts. They both talked about this season and how the future should be good for Virginia. They think I could be a real big part of that."
On Saturday, the prep football prospect went to Virginia's game against Virginia Tech.
"It was real fun," he said. "It was an experience. I had never been on the field of a football game. I went out to the 50-yard line and watched the team warm up and stretch. It was a good experience.
"I loved the atmosphere there too. There were so many people there, I've never seen so many at a football game. I felt like playing that day."
Arrington took notice of what the receivers did in the game for the Cavaliers.
"It looks like Virginia uses their receivers a lot," he said. "The routes and formations suit me well. I could see myself in that offense."
On Sunday, Arrington wrapped up his trip by touring the campus and meeting with the coaches.
"I got to talk to my position coach and Coach Groh for a while," he stated. "Basically they were saying they like me a lot, but they need my SAT score. They think the chances of me going there are real high once I get that score and that's when they'll offer me.
"Coach Groh also said he likes my character, personality and how I play on the field. He talked about how important an education is and how he'd like to get me down there with them."
At this point, no schools have offered Arrington. A variety of schools are looking at the Hargrave prospect.
"I hear from Akron, Alabama, Ole Miss and Illinois a bit," he said. "I have no other visits scheduled at this time. More than likely I will go on more when coaches decide to set some up."
Arrington also confirmed he still has no favorites.
This season he hauled in 10 receptions for 200-yards and three touchdowns for Hargrave.
