Hargrave OT takes an official

Chatham (Va.) Hargrave Military Academy offensive tackle Corbin Williamson made his way back home to Ohio on an official to Kent State. Does the 6-foot-4, 275-pounder have a favorite?
"I liked the visit a lot," he said. "I went up there and my dad came with me," he said. 'I had a good time. I was there over the weekend.

"I got there and went out with my host, Dante Campbell. He was a really cool guy. He went to high school in Warren and my mom went to school there. He talked about his hometown and that's where my grandma is. We knew a lot about the same stuff."
On Saturday, Williamson checked out the school more.
"I got up in the morning and had breakfast with Coach Martin," he said. "Then I toured around the campus, checked out the dorms and facilities."
What did the lineman think of Martin?
"My dad and I talked with him on Saturday evening," he said. "I liked Coach Martin a lot. He initially said he wasn't going to offer a midyear lineman and then went back and said he'd like to take me and offered."
Returning back to his home state, Williamson had a good time.
"I liked it a lot there," he said. "I was born in Columbus and have Ohio pride. My brother is a junior in high school and being close, I like that opportunity. I'd say they are leading, but I haven't made a decision yet."
Kent has offered the prep lineman, while a number of other schools are still showing interest.
"A couple other schools looking at me are Middle Tennessee and East Carolina. They want me to visit, but I don't have anything scheduled. I leave Hargrave on Friday and I'll set visits after that."
Williamson felt like he had a good semester at Hargrave.
"Definitely it was a good experience," he said. "We had an alright year, but I got to go against better competition and I got a whole lot better."
