Hardricks list continues to grow

Rodney Hardrick has four offers and lots more interest but the Colton, Calif., outside linebacker is preparing for the state championship against Moreno Valley (Calif.) Rancho Verde this weekend and then will focus more on recruiting.
Washington, Oregon State, Idaho and New Mexico are the four offers for Hardrick, a 6-foot-3, 205-pound three-star prospect who said USC, Oregon and UCLA are showing interest and those are the coaches he talks to most.

"I talk to those coaches the most out of anyone and I feel like we have a strong relationship but I'm taking things slow and waiting for the semester grades to come out and for the season to be finished," Hardrick said.
"It's my decision to wait. I'm totally fine with it. I need to finish things off on a good note here before I start something else. I have no problem waiting and the coaches I talk to have no problem with it so it's not a problem at all."
Hardrick has already had one in-home visit with New Mexico and linebackers coach Toby Neinas stopped by which was important since the Colton standout was able to talk over things with his position coach.
"It was really good," Hardrick said. "I liked it. They told me a lot about the school and they were very helpful. I enjoyed talking to them. That's pretty cool because you don't always get your position coach as your recruiting coach so that was a plus."
USC will do an in-home visit with Hardrick on Thursday night and he was supposed to take an official visit to Idaho this weekend but it had to be postponed because of the state championship.
The two Pac-10 offers are nice, and so is the interest from the three Pac-10 schools, but Hardrick said he's more focused on finding the perfect fit for him in whichever conference he feels most comfortable. After the season, he'll start putting together some official trips to figure it all out.
"The whole Pac-10 thing doesn't really matter to me," Hardrick said. "It's more about where I feel comfortable. I'm not looking at any school more than another school. I'm looking at them all equally.
"After the season I'm going to sit down with my parents and go over everything again and figure out where I want to take my visits."
