Hard hitting safety has nose for ball

Free safety Kainoa Kaheaku-Enhada (6-1, 195, 4.7) from Kapolei, Hawai’i is one of those players who seem to be in the right place at the right time. He has great instincts and gets a good jump on the ball.
“Kainoa has a great nose for the football,” Kapolei coach Darrin Hernandez said. “As a junior, he led the league and maybe the state with nine interceptions. As a sophomore, he picked off six passes.”

“Kainoa is a very physical who plays the run real well,” Hernandez said. “He probably projects as a linebacker, but he is very comfortable as a free safety and does a lot of good things for us.”
“Kainoa has that great frame and could put on the weight necessary to play linebacker on the next level,” Hernandez said. “He is also a great special team’s player. He plays the game with great heart and passion.”
Kaheaku-Enhada was selected first-team all-league and third-team all-state as a junior.
Besides Kaheaku-Enhada’s nine interceptions, he accounted for 44 tackles, 11 broken up passes, four tackles for loss and two forced fumbles.
Kaheaku-Enhada has good bloodlines his brother Kaipo-Noa Kaheaku-Enhada earned a scholarship to the Naval Academy last February.
Colorado, Oregon, Oregon State, Washington, Utah, BYU and Hawai’i are showing interest in Kaheaku-Enhada.
Kaheaku-Enhada is another one to keep your eye on from the Aloha State.
