Harbison holds offers

Charlotte (N.C.) Mallard Creek is home to more than just D.J. Humphries in 2012. The school features a talented wide receiver in Jamel Harbison who holds three offers at this time.
"Minnesota, Clemson, West Virginia and maybe NC State have offered him," Mallard Creek head coach Michael Palmieri said. "Clemson, Virginia Tech and Virginia are interested.

"He's excited about the opportunities, but he hasn't said much about it. He went straight to baseball and is working as hard as he can in that."
Harbison is a potential baseball recruit as well.
"He is getting some looks for baseball," he said. "He prefers football more."
Palmieri broke down his star wideout in-depth.
"He's 5-foot-11, 195-pounds," he said. "He can definitely play both ways.
"Last year he had 62 receptions for 1,000-yards and 17 touchdowns. He's just a big-time player for us. He's a phenomenal punter too and kickoff return guy. He's just an all-around athlete; his ability to catch the football is great and his yards after the catch, wow!
"While Kevin (Asante) has more speed, more of a deep threat, Jamel is as good as it gets in the slot."
