Hanson names two early favorites

Jake Hanson has emerged on the recruiting radar recently with four offers and many other programs are showing a lot of interest.
The 6-foot-5, 285-pound offensive tackle from Eureka, Calif., has already landed offers from Arizona, Cal, Fresno State and Washington State but it's two other programs that stand out as early frontrunners.

"My two favorite schools are probably Oregon State and Oregon even though they haven't offered me yet," Hanson said.
Colorado and San Jose State are also getting more involved and the Eureka standout said USC and UCLA are poking around a little as well.
Hanson has already visited Cal and Colorado in recent weeks.
The Golden Bears have offered and Hanson said he was really impressed by the campus and the facilities. Colorado is staying in the mix but has decided not to offer up to this point.
"I really like the facilities and the stadium at Cal," Hanson said. "Those stood out a lot. Those are world-class facilities right there. The whole campus was great. It's a beautiful place.
"I'm not sure about Colorado. They expressed a lot of interest early but they haven't offered yet so I don't really know what's going on there. They want me to go to some of their camps so I might go to summer camp and we'll see after that."
The Northern California recruit said he wants to return to Colorado for summer camp and is also working on a trip to Oregon State in the coming months. The remainder of his offseason schedule is being finalized.
