Hanson back from UMass visit

Teaneck, N.J. linebacker Michael Hanson began his busy visiting schedule with a trip to UMass. How did things go for the three-star prospect?
"I had never been there and I really liked everything I saw," Hanson said. "I liked the weight room and the school was nice. Everything was nice. I would have to say it was about an 8.5 on a scale of 1 to 10. I've still got other visits left, so I'm looking forward to those."

The 6-foot-2, 217-pounder will be going to James Madison in two weeks and then will try to visit Maine and New Hampshire sometime soon.
"I will announce my decision on Signing Day," said Hanson, who recorded more than 100 tackles this year in high school. "My plan is to do it then. I'm still looking at places and trying to make a decision. I don't have a school in front of the others right now. I'm just trying to make a decision."
Hanson liked Indiana, but after the coaching staff was fired the Hoosiers have apparently backed off.
Hanson runs a 4.59 in the 40-yard dash and is ranked the No. 35 inside linebacker in the country by Rivals.com. Hanson is also rated the No. 15 prospect in the Garden State.
