Hannan looking at new school

Waxahachie, Texas offensive center Jason Hannan had a tough decision to make this past week. After commiting to Oklahoma State last April, he had a change of heart and has made a big change to his recruitment.
The 6-foot-4, 277-pound lineman de-committed from Oklahoma State Monday night. Hannan also took an official visit this past weekend to Oklahoma where he was officially offered by coach Bob Stoops. While he's yet to commit anywhere else, Hannan says that the Sooners are his current leader.

"I didn't think it was fair to be committed to a school and looking around at the same time," Hannan said. "The Oklahoma State coaches were disappointed in my decision and this was hard for me. This didn't just happen overnight. I've been thinking about all this since this past summer."
Hannan's visit to Oklahoma has put the Sooners ahead of the rest.
"I went to the Iowa State game and I really liked it," Hannan said. "I met with coach Stoops and he told me I had a scholarship there. I also visited with coach James Patton and the offensive line coach. We watched the game and I got to visit with them and the other players. It just feels like the best fit.
"They're on top. I guess with them it's the tradition they have and their winning program. Plus, it's closer to home for me. That plays a role in my decision."
Hannan says he'll likely have a decision made by the end of the week.
"I'd say I'm close," he said. "Probably pretty soon I'll make up my mind."
