KELLER, Texas - There are two big receiving targets at Flower Mound (Texas) High School. Many are well aware of Chandler Koch, but his teammate and hybrid receiver/tight end James Hanna is piling up the interest as well.
The 6-foot-5, 216-pounder had a solid outing this past weekend at the NIKE Combine in Keller, Texas and says that he's just looking for that first scholarship offer to come. The attention is certainly there from schools all over. Hanna is also not wasting any time with visits.
"I've been to SMU, Texas, Oklahoma State, and I'm going up to Oklahoma for their spring game," Hanna said. "UT is supposed to be coming down in the spring to watch us and A&M is showing a little bit of interest."

Hanna says that though he hasn't visited Oklahoma yet, the Sooners are high on his list.
"I've just always been a fan of Oklahoma," Hanna said. "That's really it."
Regardless of his big frame, Hanna says he considers himself more of a receiver than a tight end. He plays mostly in the slot and on the outside except for jumbo packages where he moves in as the second tight end.
With recruiting, he says that schools will probably see that he's a receiver too.
"I've got foot speed," Hanna said. "When I get started, it's hard to catch me and I'm hard to tackle."
At the event, Hanna showed off his ability putting up a vertical leap of over 30 inches and a quick shuttle time in the low 4.1-second range. With his abilities, the first offer could be around the corner. That works for Hanna since he'd like to get things out of the way early.
"I would like to commit early because it takes a way a lot of the stress," he said.
Hanna was an all-district selection as a junior.
