Hankerson is wide open

Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Saint Thomas Aquinas wide receiver Leonard Hankerson has several scholarship offers from Division I-A programs and is wide-open with regards to his destination.
"I have offers from Miami (Fla.), Michigan, Pittsburgh, Auburn, Rutgers, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Central Florida, South Florida, Wisconsin, N.C. State and others," Hankerson said. "I'm keeping it open for everybody."

Florida and Florida State have yet to offer Hankerson, but that doesn't mean that the two in-state powers can't get in the race for his services later in the process.
"It doesn't hurt anyone that they haven't offered yet," he said. "I'm still keeping it open, so nobody is out."
Also, don't expect and early decision from the 6-foot-2, 185-pounder.
"I'm going to stretch out the process," he said.
Hankerson is sitting out STA's spring practice with an injury.
"I'm not practicing because I have a broken bone in my hand," he said. "I just come out here everyday and watch."
Hankerson does not plan to camp anywhere this summer. He caught 31 passes for 608 yards and 14 touchdowns last season.
