Handy commits to another Tigers

On March 3, Jaren Handy, a Rivals250 defensive end out of Hattiesburg (Miss.) committted to LSU.

March 15 came around and he re-opened his recruitment.

After a visit to Auburn June 2, Handy started to really feel Auburn and one June 18, he committed to those Tigers.

“I just feel different about this commitment, said Handy. “I felt comfortable at Auburn.

“I felt at home there and I built good relationships with the players and coaches over there.

“Most importantly, my mom fell in love with the place and she really took a liken to coach G (Rodney Garner, defensive line).”

Schools aren’t going to give up on Handy. He was leaning toward Alabama and Ole Miss before his recent visit to Auburn.

This is his second commitment to an SEC school and he is not done yet.

“I am still going to take visits,” said Handy.
