Hand gives Wisconsin visit high marks

The weekend of Nov. 12 Philadelphia (Pa.) West Philadelphia defensive lineman Derrell Hand started his official visit schedule with a trip to Michigan State. He resumed things with a trip to Wisconsin this weekend.
"It was wonderful," Hand said of his trip to Madison. "I saw them preparing for a bowl game. I got to meet the coach that would be my position coach if I were to go there. I got to see how the atmosphere is there. I really enjoyed myself out there."

Asked which of the two visits he liked better, Hand said, "I really can't say. Both places are great. I really can't pick one right now.
"I visit Miami next weekend. Notre Dame is Jan. 15 I believe. Most likely I'll just take four visits."
The 6-foot-2, 305 pound Hand is the No. 40 defensive tackle prospect in the Rivals.com player rankings and the No. 19 prospect in the state of Pennyslvania.
