Hancock pulls the trigger

Clovis (Calif.) West athlete Brandon Hancock is finally done and finished with his college decision. So did he end up picking USC or did Stanford steal him away.
"Well, I've finally made up my mind," Hancock, the nation’s No. 5 fullback, said. "I'm going to USC. I'm a Trojan."

"My mind said Stanford, but my heart said Southern Cal. I just couldn't not follow my heart."
Hancock's commitment is huge for USC because he'll provide an immediate impact for the Trojans.
"This really was the toughest thing that I have ever had to do," Hancock, who had actually been reported in the Los Angeles papers at one time as a USC pledge, but then looked hard at both the Trojans and Stanford.
"I didn't know how I was going to tell Stanford. But they handled it with class. And the USC coaches were very excited and welcomed me with open arms."
