Hamlett likes several Big Ten schools

"I went to the Rutgers camp," running back Gerrard Hamlett said. "It was real good. I met a lot of the coaches."
"Rutgers, Iowa, Purdue, Georgia, Wake Forest, Indiana, Michigan, North Carolina, and Pitt, those are schools I'm looking at."

"Indiana and North Carolina offered me. It wasn't in writing, it was verbally."
"Georgia's my favorite. They're at the top. It's a running school. And they have a chance for a big bowl each season."
The 5-foot-10 and 180 pounder from Ft. Lauderdale (Fla.) Aquinas missed most of his junior season. Hamlett tore his ACL during the second game and had surgery. He is 100% healthy once again and ready for his senior season.
