Hamilton begins to consider visits

It's been over a month since Rivals last heard from Clifton (Va.) Centreville cornerback Darryl Hamilton. The 5-foot-8, 178-pounder has seen recruiting pick back up on September 1st.
"It has and hasn't, honestly I haven't really focused on that. I'm focused on the season," he said. "I have continued to receive contact from Virginia still. North Carolina has been calling me more. They want film next week on my first three games which sounds promising.

"I also am hearing lately from Duke, NC State and a little bit from Notre Dame. They all want tape in the next few weeks. All these schools know I can play, they are trying to see how I play the position and where I'll play in college, whether safety or cornerback."
Hamilton is starting to get invitations for visits as well.
"I know North Carolina wants me to come down along with Virginia and NC State," he said. "I'll probably do some of those in the next four weeks. Then in week eight or nine of the college season I'll begin to look at officials."
Of course, Virginia continues to be leading for the two-star prospect since they are his lone offer.
"No. 1 of course is Virginia, but North Carolina and NC State are up there along with Duke," he said. "Those are the schools showing the most interest."
In two games this season, Hamilton has helped his team to a 1-1 record.
"I'd had an interception for a touchdown, a blocked punt and 12 tackles," he said. "I'm much more comfortable in the game this year and everything is a lot slower. My reaction is much better this season."
