The Alameda, Calif., three-star cornerback took his official visit to Pullman and Hameed said he's happier than ever about his commitment to the Cougars.
"It was great," Hameed said. "It was amazing. I'm really glad I went. The coaching staff, the players, everybody was great up there. Pullman is a great place to be. I'm excited for the summer."
Hameed had taken one other trip to Washington State last summer and said he likes everything about the coaching staff, the players and even the town.
The three-star, who will play cornerback but could also move to safety, said his overall experience this past weekend at Washington State was great. Everything worked out well.
"I loved the vibe I got from the place," Hameed said. "You get a vibe from every place you go to and it was a real home vibe and everybody was on board. It seemed like everybody was motivated to win games, just go out there and have fun and just do what we have to do to get to the Rose Bowl and national championships."
Hameed, who committed to the Cougars over Arizona State and others this fall, said his commitment is solid. There's a chance he could take other trips, but he's unsure with only a few weeks to go before signing day.
"The coaching staff and the guys that are already there, the players, they're all really cool and we all have the same goals," Hameed said. "Everybody is just really solid, and then Pullman itself is a great place, too."
