Hamdan Pulls the Trigger

As expected, BushHamdan, a 6-0, 200 pound quarterback from Arlington (Va.) Bishop O'Connell committed on his official visit to Boise State this past weekend. In our eyes, the Broncos are getting a major steal and a player we feel has a chance to be a very solid Div I quarterback.

“It was great, I loved it there,” Hamdan said. “I knew I would commit on the visit and it didn’t take much for me to pull the trigger. They have a first class coaching staff there and I love the offense they run. It’s a very quarterback friendly offense and the school has been a top 20 program the past two years.

“I’m just so excited about the opportunity to play because for a long time, I didn’t think I would get this shot. I thought I opened up some last spring at the Nike Camps and (EA SPORTS) Elite 11 workouts in Las Vegas but all the schools recruiting me kind of put me on the backburner. Once they got their top guys, I was dropped and it looked like I might have to walk on somewhere. Now I have an opportunity to fulfill a dream and I’m looking forward to making the most of it.”
