Haman sets first official visit

Brock Haman set his official visit to Oregon State for the last weekend in August and it's going to be an important trip for the Scottsdale (Ariz.) Saguaro outside linebacker since he hasn't been to Corvallis yet.
"It's definitely important especially since I haven't been able to see Oregon State yet," Haman said. "I haven't seen any of the facilities at Oregon State yet.

"I've been able to go to Arkansas now and I've seen ASU and U of A and it's the only other one in my top right now that I haven't visited. It's very important to see the atmosphere, the coaching staff and see how they practice. It's very important to see how they operate."
Haman, a three-star outside linebacker rated No. 14 in the Arizona state rankings by Rivals.com, hasn't finalized anything yet with Arkansas but could visit for its opener against Tennessee Tech on Sept. 4.
He was in Fayetteville for summer camp but Haman wants to see the game-day atmosphere at Arkansas before making his decision.
"I've seen it during the camp and stuff but I'd like to see it during a game-time situation and how the players are and the whole program when they have a game," Haman said. "That's how you really get to know the team. It's nice to see it during a game-day environment."
There are also definite plans to schedule official visits to Arizona and Arizona State but neither date has been set and Haman, who finished with 51 tackles and two sacks last season, said UCLA has recently reached out more and that's good news because he's highly interested in the Bruins.
"It's definitely nice," Haman said about UCLA. "I just started talking to them just a little while ago.
"Right now they're definitely on the list because I've gotten to know them so much better. I'm from California, I was born there and it's nice to talk to UCLA. I have family around there and it's a great program."
