Haman picks SEC school

Brock Haman visited Arkansas this summer and then went back to Fayetteville in early September for an official visit to check out game day.
Those two visits plus the reputation of the Razorbacks, their coaching staff and the facilities was enough for the Scottsdale (Ariz.) Saguaro outside linebacker to commit this weekend.

"It felt right," Haman said of his commitment. "It felt like it was the place to be for me. They've always been at the top of my list and I can see myself being there for the next four or five years."
Haman, a 6-foot-4, 235-pound prospect, took official visits to Oregon State, UCLA, Arizona and Arizona State as well but it was the trip to Arkansas that stood out the most to him.
All the above schools offered except for the Bruins and Haman also had offers from Idaho, New Mexico State, Northern Colorado and Northern Arizona.
Playing in the SEC was also a big factor for Haman, a three-star recruit who's rated No. 14 in the Arizona state rankings by Rivals.com. Arkansas offensive line coach Chris Klenakis was reportedly at Haman's game Friday night.
"I definitely think it was a big factor not just for kids in the south but for kids in the west, too," Haman said.
"SEC football is arguably the greatest conference in America. I couldn't see myself playing anywhere else except maybe the Pac-10. I know I want to be a Razorback."
Haman battled a hip injury in his junior season but still finished with 51 tackles and two sacks.
The only linebacker in Arizona rated higher than Haman is Peoria Centennial's Jebron Harrington, a San Diego State commit. Arizona's rankings are dominated by offensive linemen this recruiting cycle.
