Haman exploring all his options

Brock Haman has seen his recruitment take off in the last few months and things could get even better for the Scottsdale (Ariz.) Saguaro outside linebacker if Arizona and Arizona State come through with offers.
According to Haman, both in-state programs have shown increased interest and could be close to sending an offer. That would be big news for Haman but he's still considering all of his options and isn't dead-set on staying close to home to play college football.

"Both Arizona and ASU I grew up watching both of them and I'd love an offer from either school," Haman said. "It would be closer to home and friends could watch me.
"Arizona told me they'd offer me for tight end and could offer within a week if they're going to offer. They sounded pretty strongly they're going to offer. Coach (Seth) Littrell has to have a meeting with Mike Stoops because he makes the final decision.
"I'm not even sure where (Arizona State) would offer me. Coach (Dennis) Erickson said
he'd like me more as a defensive end. I was there for a 7-on-7 and a Big Man Challenge and they said they're going to offer me sometime soon."
At this point in his recruitment, Haman said Oregon State stands out the most. New Mexico State, Idaho, Montana, Northern Arizona and Northern Colorado have also offered but the Beavers have his attention right now.
"I love their coaching staff," Haman said of Oregon State. "I respect them and I think I'd work with them really well and I think coach (Mike) Riley is one of the best coaches in the Pac-10."
Haman, a three-star recruit rated as the No. 14 prospect in the Arizona state rankings by Rivals.com, said Oregon State, Arizona, Arizona State, UCLA and Arkansas would make up his top five.
The Razorbacks are a somewhat surprising selection for someone who otherwise is focused on Pac-10 schools thus far but a lot of factors are playing in Arkansas' favor. Haman plans to visit Fayetteville later this month and hopes an offer could come at some point.
"It's in the SEC and that's nice," Haman said. "I like that it's far away from stuff, it makes me focus on football which is nice and I can focus on school. I can do what I
need to do."
