Hallmon releases top ten

Weston (Fla.) Cypress Bay defensive back Deion Hallmon announced his top ten on Twitter in no order of Rutgers, Syracuse, West Virginia, Florida State, USF, Ole Miss, Washington State, N.C. State, South Carolina, and Wisconsin.
Why the top ten now?

"Recruiting is getting crazy. Every day I have messages on Facebook and Twitter from fans telling me to come to their school," explained Hallmon. "Don't get me wrong I like it. But I'm the type of person that doesn't want to let anyone down. If it were up to me I would decide before the season."
An early decision would help his data plan on his phone, but they may not be possible as Hallmon has yet to visit any schools on his wish list.
He did go down to the Al Golden Summer camp at Miami. The camp went well as he posted a 4.38 (unofficial) forty time. He worked at receiver, but left without an offer. His father Jack Hallmon played defensive back at Miami in the 80's.
Was it disappointing not landing an offer?
"Yes. They offered Dennis Turner and Ryan Mayes. Maybe they will offer in the season. If they do it will change everything for me," stated Hallmon.
Last fall, he led his team to a Class 8A state championship runner-up finish. He recorded seven interceptions from his corner spot and college coaches took notice.
The two in-state schools of FSU and USF are recruiting him hard and he likes the coaches at both programs.
"Coach (Jeremy) Pruitt is recruiting me from the 'Noles. I remember him from Alabama and we talk about things outside of football," noted Hallmon. "I went to USF's satellite camp in Miami a couple of weeks ago. I didn't work out, but I get to meet all of the coaches, so that was cool.
In a perfect world he would like to stay close to home because he is close to his sister and brother. His mom told him to handle the recruiting the process the right way. Therefore, you won't see him doing the hat trick at a press conference.
If Signing Day were tomorrow he said it would be a tough call between Rutgers, Syracuse, and West Virginia because they are recruiting him the hardest.
He is going to focus on his summer workouts with his team and doesn't have any plans to camp anywhere. Look for him to take his time before pulling the trigger.
