Hall takes unexpected trip

Cincinnati (Ohio) Anderson offensive lineman Ty Hall was supposed to take in the Vanderbilt-Tennessee game this weekend on an unofficial visit. He ended up elsewhere.
"I went to Wake Forest to see them play Navy," said the 6-foot-6, 280-pounder. "I really like it down there. It's nice and they have good academics. I also think I could play right away."

Hall, who has already taken an official visit to Boston College, has a couple trips set up.
"I go to Vanderbilt on Dec. 6 and Pitt on Dec. 13 although I could change Pitt to Wake," he said. "The BC, Vandy and Wake coaches are all coming next week for in-home visits so that will help me clear a few things. I think Pitt is coming as well and Clemson might be as well."
Hall has a tentative date set with Clemson for Jan. 10.
"I might be committed by then though," he said. "Right now I like BC and Wake the best and it I'll take at least one more visit before I decide."
