Tyler (Texas) Lee four-star athlete Zach Hall picked up his first offer from the Texas Tech Red Raiders, and coach Trey Haverty has been leading the charge in his recruiting process.
He has yet to visit Lubbock, but he plans to change that very soon. He plans to visit in April, and he likes what he is hearing from the Red Raiders.

"They tell me if my primary position is corner and that I will be playing punt returner and stuff because they see I can make plays with the ball in my hands," Hall said. "So they said somehow I'll have the ball in my hands whether I'm playing defense or playing slot."
The Red Raiders are his only scholarship offer right now, but he continues to receive interest from SMU, TCU, and Baylor. Coaches from each program have let him know they plan to be back in the spring. Hall also has plans to visit SMU on April 11.
Hall is not ready to declare any leaders right now, and he does not plan to make a decision until his senior year.
While he is not ready to make his college choice, he does have a preference on w
"Probably offense," Hall said. "I just like having the ball."
He may prefer to play offense, but he also has plenty of experience on defense.
"I play corner in 7-on-7 and that's what I played all my years in Pop Warner and stuff," Hall said. "I actually played safety my freshman year."
Hall completed 143 of 247 passes for 2001 yards and 16 touchdowns while running for 1,487 yards and 22 touchdowns on 183 attempts as Tyler Lee's quarterback in 2014.
