Hall looking at two summer visits

Rivals250 running back Darrin Hall of Youngstown (Ohio) Austintown Fitch has had a quiet summer, but he plans to ramp up his recruiting process heading into his senior year.
"I actually didn't get to visit anywhere (over the summer)," Hall said. "I do plan on visiting Pitt and West Virginia soon. I want to do those before the season."

Both Pitt and West Virginia have offered Hall. Pittsburgh is just over an hour from his hometown and makes for an easy trip for the four-star back.
"I know that they are really close to the Steelers so there has to be some connection with getting stuff from the Steelers, like drills and getting plays that they run," Hall said. "Their weight rooms are close to each other, they play at the same stadium. It would be the closest I can get to the NFL without being in the NFL."
At West Virginia, Hall is interested in getting his questions answered about their coaching staff and his fit in their offensive system.
"I know they run Spread," Hall said. "I like the pro-style, but I can play both. In high school I actually run Spread, so it's not an issue. I just need to get down there to learn more and get to know the coaching staff a little better."
Hall also plans to take in fall games at both schools. With little recruiting action happening the last few months, he is still a ways away from making his college selection.
"It's probably going to go into my senior year," Hall said. "I am really taking it slow."
Another school that has long been at the top of Hall's list is Michigan State, and he spoke about where things stand with the Spartans.
"I was really liking Michigan State, but Larry Scott committed," Hall said. "I am still liking them and there's a chance I'll go there, but I have to start thinking and make sure that is the right place for me. They are still interested, but I'm not sure if that is going to be the choice for me or not."
The 5-foot-11, 195-pound Hall is the No. 18 ranked running back in the 2015 class and the No. 168 prospect overall.
