Hall Hinting At Leader

Chesapeake (Va.) Western Branch linebacker Vince Hall took an unofficial visit this past weekend and is hinting at a leader.
"I went to the Virginia Tech game on an unofficial," said the 6-foot-1, 230-pounder. "They lost the game to Pitt, but in a way that was better for me."

Huh? Long considered one of his favorites, why would a Hokie loss be good?
"Well, I wasn't hoping they'd lose, but the coaches are great. The Tech staff, even though they had lost the game, they still wanted to see me. They could have just like, 'well I don't want to talk to you because we just lost the game' but they were great.
"The loss wasn't good, but I think it was better for me to see a loss to a team and see how they react. I talked to coach Beamer, coach Stinespring, my recruiter, and coach Foster and we all hit it off."
Hall said he is supposed to take his official visit to Virginia Tech on Nov. 29 for the weekend they face Virginia or he might take it later in December. He knows of one visit for sure.
"I'm going to Penn State the first weekend of December (Dec. 6)," he said. "I'll also visit Tech, North Carolina, Tennessee and maybe either Clemson or NC State or someplace like that. I might only need four though.
"I just want to see the campus, atmosphere and learn more about each school I visit," he said. "I want to decide before Signing Day if I can."
