Hall gives visit play-by-play

Cincinnati (Ohio) Anderson offensive lineman Ty Hall was one of what seemed like a full football team of Ohio players to take an official visit to Boston College this past weekend. Did he enjoy it?
"Yeah, it was sweet," said the 6-foot-6, 280-pounder. "I was hosted by Ricky Brown who is from Ohio, and his roommate Jim Unis so that was cool. I liked the visit a lot."

Hall gave a play-by-play of the weekend.
"We got there Friday and took a tour of Boston and then we went out to eat," he said. "Then we went to a couple of parties which were okay but not great.
"On Saturday, we woke up and had breakfast and then went to the game. I was one of the few guys to go outside and watch warmups because of the weather. I loved the weather, it was cold, rainy and then it snowed. That's lineman's weather.
"After the game, we all went out to eat at a place called the Capitol Grille," he said. "The bill must have been like $10,000 -- we ate everything. After that we went to a few more parties which were much, much better. We were out pretty late.
"Then we woke up and had breakfast around 10AM and then met with the coaches before leaving," he said. "I think about five guys will end up committing to BC by Signing Day. I'm not going to name names, but there was a lot of talk about commitments."
Would Hall be one of them?
"I'm going to take my visits, but I really liked it and realize now what a great opportunity BC is for me, especially as an offensive lineman," he said. "I could see myself playing there."
Hall has visits set with Vanderbilt (Dec. 6) and Clemson (Jan. 10) and will choose between Stanford, Illinois, Northwestern, Pitt, Wake Forest and others for his final trips.
"I might make some trips with some of the guys I met or knew from BC," he said. "I know I'm looking at some of the same schools as some of them."
