Hall comments on visit to WSU

Washington State quarterback commitment Arkelon Hall took his official visit this past weekend to watch the Cougars take on No. 1 nationally ranked USC. Although the game on the field didn’t go as well as he hoped, Hall said the trip was still a great time for him.
Having already committed to the Cougars back in the summer, Hall was one on the recent visit who didn’t need to be wined and dined as much as the others players there.

“They still showed me a great time,” Hall said. “I like Pullman, it’s a cool college town and there’s a lot more to do there than people think. We we went out to some clubs and just had a great time. I heard the ratio of girls to guys on campus is like 7-1 so that’s perfect for me. I was there in the summer so I knew the school pretty well already but I got to spend a lot more time with the players on the team and see more of the academic side of things on my visit.
“It’s always real cool to hang out with the players there because it’s such a family atmosphere at Washington State. The whole city is all about WSU football and that’s one of the best things about it there.”
One player Hall spent a lot of time with on the visit was Lacey (Wash.) Timberline running back Jonathan Stewart who was also there on an official visit.
“Jonathan had a great trip, I would be really surprised if he goes anywhere else to be honest,” Hall said. “We hit it off really well at the Cougar football camp this summer and have talked a lot since then. I get the feeling he wants to stay relatively close to home and he loves the family atmosphere at Washington State. He told me he’s going to take some more of his trips but I really think he ends up here at Washington State.”
