Half of Big Ten offers Russell
Detroit (Mich.) DePorres wide receiver Talonnie Russell is one of the top ten overall prospects in his state and has the scholarship offers to prove it. Over half of the schools in the Big Ten have offered in writing.
"Illinois, Iowa, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, and Michigan State have offered," Russell said. "I think that's it right now. All of them have offered in writing."

"I'm interested in all of them."
"I'm going to visit some schools in the summer, but I'm not sure which ones. I'm supposed to go to Ohio State's senior camp."
"I don't have a favorite really."
The 5-foot-11 and 160 pound Russell caught close to 30 passes as he was named all-catholic league his junior season. Russell has been a varsity starter since his freshman year.
