Hale ready to look at leaders

Naijiel Hale likes Arizona a lot and has named the Wildcats as one of his frontrunners but the Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco cornerback said it's still too early to make any final decisions.
A lot of programs have offered and others are also showing interest so Hale will sit down soon with his coaches to work some things out but a commitment is not expected.

"I kind of stepped back from recruiting," Hale said. "I haven't talked to too many coaches. I'm going to sit down with my position coach and we're going to narrow down a couple things and just see what I'm looking for.
"I'm just going to narrow down the list a little bit. Basically, that's just it.
"Arizona is still looking good and others are also popping up so everything is just the same. I say Arizona is my top school but all my options are top schools and I'm not looking past any of them."
Akron, Arizona, Arizona State, Boise State, Cal, Nebraska, Nevada, San Jose State, Utah and Washington State have offered Hale so far and it sounds like he'll trim that list down pretty soon.
Recently, a bunch of college coaches stopped by St. John Bosco to watch a spring practice and one of the top teams there was Ohio State.
The Buckeyes have offered four-star offensive lineman Damien Mama and Hale said the Ohio State coach who was at the school has also been reaching out to him.
There has been no offer yet but Hale is excited to see if anything comes of it.
"They came on the day when we had the picnic when all the coaches were there which was a couple weeks ago," Hale said.
"They gave me a call and said they're interested. The coach said he came out that day and he wanted to contact me and he liked what he saw. I am supposed to give him a call back."
