Hale firms up Arizona pledge

Naijiel Hale considered an official visit to Washington State earlier this month. He didn't take it.
Then the three-star cornerback from Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco thought about heading down to the Arizona State-UCLA game last weekend. He didn't go.

All this news bodes well for Arizona which landed Hale's commitment in early July and it looks like the Wildcats are going to keep the talented corner in their class.
Instead of going to UCLA last weekend, Hale watched Arizona dismantle Oregon on television and it excited the St. John Bosco standout even more about the program's future.
"I didn't end up going," Hale said.
"I watched the Arizona game. That was big. It was kind of surprising. The defense was looking sweet. They really played a good game the whole time."
As for official visits, even though many programs want him to take a trip, Hale said he'll probably only visit Arizona. That sounds great for the Wildcats and keeping Hale in their recruiting class.
"I think I'm only going to take one visit to Arizona so far and that's it," Hale said. "I think I'm going to try to get down there the second week of December and if not then late January. I'm supposed to set it up with the coaches.
"I'm not looking for any other visits. I'm going to only take a trip to Arizona right now."
Hale lists offers from Arizona, Akron, Arizona State, Boise State, Cal, Nebraska, Nevada, San Jose State, Utah and Washington State.
