Haislah talks about Big Ten visit

Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville defensive back Eric Haislah is focused at least for now on schools in the Midwest and East.
"I'm thinking about Indiana, Michigan, Northwestern, Boston College, Illinois, Syracuse, and Ohio State," Haislah said. "And Ball State."

While Haislah said he does not have scholarship offers from any of the schools he mentioned, he said a number of them are waiting for tape.
"I called coach Beckman at Ohio State," Haislah said. "It went good. He said he wants to see my highlight tape.
"Indiana said the same thing. Eastern Michigan already has my tape."
Haislah headed north for a visit earlier this spring.
"I went to a Michigan spring practice," he said. "I liked it a lot. I liked the way the coaches and players got along."
The 5-foot-8 and 184-pound Haislah played cornerback his sophomore year, then moved to strong safety his junior season. Haislah made 32 tackles and batted down eight passes. He is projected as a cornerback at the next level.
