Hairston in the middle of camps
Winston-Salem (N.C.) Parkland running back Chris Hairston is still sitting on three scholarships. The 6-foot-0, 200-pounder is starting to take summer camps and heads to two schools this weekend.
"I just recently went to Wake Forest," he said. "This Saturday I'm going to Duke and then on Sunday I'm going to East Carolina just to visit."

How was Wake Forest?
"Wake was good," he said. "They said they really liked me and that if they don't offer then it's just the fact they have to make some decisions."
Hairston is sitting on offers from East Carolina, Wisconsin and Winston-Salem State.
Is Hairston looking at a trip to Wisconsin?
"I think I'm going to wait on that until my official visits."
Hairston claims one school is sticking out from the pack at this point in time.
"I'm really liking East Carolina," he said. "They seem very interested and want me more than any other back. They said I'm the No. 1 back on their list."
