Hadley on the verge of a decision

Miami (Fla.) Miami Palmetto two-star cornerback Javon Hadley says he is on the verge of a decision.
"(I am) Probably going to make a decision by next Friday," Hadley said. "It is going to be between Mississippi State, UConn, and Utah State. Those are my top three as of right now."

Hadley, who has yet to visit any of his current top three, shared what he likes about each of those options.
Connecticut: "I know their coaching staff pretty well. Coach Don Brown has been telling me that I can probably get early playing time there. I like the school. I feel like I could be at home there. I really like UConn right now."
Mississippi State: "They are in the SEC. I love how they play defense. I like how they put their guys on an island. They put you in a position to make plays."
Utah State: "I just like the way that their coaches talk. I like how they would use me in their defense."
The 5-foot-11, 170-pound defensive back intends to still take official visits during the season despite his plans to make a decision in the near future.
"I have talked to the coaches at each school and I am probably going to take a visit to each of them in the fall," Hadley said.
Hadley visited UCF on Tuesday afternoon. He said that they won't be an option if he makes his decision next week. While he isn't listing the Knights as a leader at this point, he says it is likely they get another visit during the season along with his current top three.
