Gwaltney returns from UCF

Long Island (N.Y.) North Babylon running back Jason Gwaltney took his second official visit this past weekend, a somewhat surprising choice in Central Florida. How did it go?
"I had a good time," said the 6-foot-0, 234-pounder. "Coach O'Leary is just like my head coach at North Babylon, so I liked that. He'll turn things around down there, no doubt. He's too good a coach."

Gwaltney is still a soft commitment to West Virginia despite official visits to Ohio State and UCF so far.
"I'd say Ohio State is the closest to changing my mind right now," he said. "That was a tempting visit. UCF is a place I could see myself because I would likely be a starter right away and try to turn around 0-11. But I'm still committed to West Virginia."
Next up for Gwaltney is USC this weekend.
"They're the No. 1 team in the nation and they'll do their thing," said Gwaltney. "I'm looking forward to the visit."
The last visit will be to West Virginia on Jan. 7 unless a new team enters the picture.
"Right now I don't see that happening," he said. "Michigan State is still trying, Arizona State is coming in this week, but I'm not visiting there. Last week Penn State came in and made a big push, but right now I'm set on the teams I'm interested in."
