Gwaltney misses Pitt visit

Long Island (N.Y.) North Babylon running back Jason Gwaltney was supposed to take his first official visit this weekend to see the Pitt Panthers. However, he couldn't make the trip.
"I had a game on Saturday and didn't realize it when we scheduled the visit," the 6-foot-0, 234-pounder said. "I'm hoping to take the visit on the weekend of Oct. 29 now. I still want to see Pitt because I know they need running backs."

Gwaltney is still scheduled to visit Ohio State (Dec. 3), Nebraska (Dec. 10) and Southern Cal (Dec. 17) all while committed, albeit softly, to West Virginia.
"My West Virginia visit will be on Jan. 7," he said. "I want to see them last. I'm still committed to West Virginia, but I don't want to regret my decision and not check anything else out. That's why I'm doing all five visits."
And which school does he think could sway him the easiest?
"Ohio State," he said. "They really need running back help and they're a good program that needs a good back."
