Guy still a wanted man

Las Vegas (Nevada) Western defensive tackle Lawrence Guy remains one of the nation's most wanted guys. The 6-foot-6, 264-pound all-state selection as a junior has listed three teams at the top of his list for quite some time – Arizona State, Michigan and Oklahoma – but now that the spring evaluation process is in full gear things have changed for him.
"Recently I've been talking to Arizona, Michigan, Washington State, Oregon State, Idaho and a lot of the Pac 10 schools," Guy said. "My top teams now would be Michigan, Arizona and Oregon State."

Why the change?
"I haven't heard from Oklahoma in a while," he said. "That's why. I haven't been getting anything from Oklahoma. No letters or anything. They're probably not interested in me, so I should just move on."
Guy just recently picked up the offer from the Wolverines. It goes along with earlier offers from UNLV and Arizona. More schools are also expected to formally offer him soon after he had a strong showing at the Los Angeles NIKE Training Camp.
When the time does come to make a decision, does Guy have a few things in mind?
"I do," he said. "I'm looking for teamwork and a team that can succeed. Not necessarily that already is, but a team that can move up. I haven't gone on any trips yet. I'm waiting for football season to take my trips. I want to see what the campus is like during the season. I want to see how the school is around the team."
But first things first, he's focused on his senior season now.
"I want to win state," he said. "I want to get better at my position and improve on my skills. I want to work more on my skills. I want to rely less on bull-rushing and work more on my rushing skills."
