Gunn travels to visit Huskers

Omaha (Neb.) Central running back Brandon Gunn took his second official visit of the year to a Big 12 North team.
“It went pretty good,” the 5-foot-11, 190-pound Gunn said. “I thought the game was nice. I thought it would be closer. The atmosphere at the stadium was great. Everyone was into the game and the place was pretty loud early on. The fans are behind their team.”

Gunn’s post game activities were limited with the enthusiasm of the players dampened.
“We just went out to a players house,” the three-star rated Gunn said. “Since they didn’t win, they weren’t too excited afterward.”
Gunn had previously visited Kansas State, Nebraska’s opponent on the field on Saturday.
“I’m interested in both schools,” he said. “Both places have a lot of positives to offer. I just got back so I really haven’t had any time to sit down and think things through.”
Don’t expect a quick decision for Gunn, who’s season finished two weeks ago with a 3-7 record.
“I’m in no hurry,” he said. “I don’t have a date set or anything. We’re done playing so I can take visits when they fit into another team’s schedule. But, right now, I don’t have any visits set.”
