Gunn takes in Clones visit

Omaha (Neb.) Central running back Brandon Gunn took his third official visit of the recruiting season this weekend.
“I had a really good visit to Iowa State,” the 5-foot-11, 190-pound Gunn said. “I was shown around the school and the facilities. Everything looked good there.”

Gunn was able to meet a lot of the players while he was in Ames for his visit.
“I got to meet a lot of the team,” he said. “A lot of the guys will be back next year. It should be a better year next year for Iowa State. Several key positions are filled by returning starters and Coach (Dan) McCarney has things going the right way there.”
Gunn has not put a timetable on a decision.
“I’m not ready to announce anything yet. I really like what I have seen on my visits at Kansas State and Iowa State. Nebraska is close to home. But, the coaching situation has made things slow down there and it has been a little while since they’ve been in touch. So, I don’t know what is up there.”
