Gunn takes a look at the Wildcats

Omaha (Neb.) Central running back Brandon Gunn took his first official visit of the recruiting season.
“I think the visit to Kansas State went pretty good,” the 5-foot-11, 190-pound Gunn said. “I had a good time. It was certainly some things I hadn’t been able to see before.”

Gunn, who was hosted by Wildcat running back Darren Sproles, had the chance to sit down and talk with K-State coach Bill Snyder.
“I went to the game,” he said. “And after the game I got to talk to all of the coaches. I met a lot of the players then. Then this morning I got to sit down and talk for quite a while with Bill Snyder. I think that meeting went very good. I learned a lot from him and he learned more about me.”
While the visit went like many, Gunn had the chance to meet a few people he wasn’t expecting to see.
“I got to meet and talk to the school president,” he said. “That wasn’t that odd, but then I got to meet the president of Warner Brothers. He was there for the game and I got to visit with him for a bit. Then I got to meet General Richard Meyers. He is the Joint Chiefs of Staff. It was nice talking to those two.”
Despite one visit being in the books already, don’t look for a quick decision from the three-star rated Gunn.
“I’m going to take my visits and see what I like the best. Then, I’ll make a choice. I don’t have any other visits lined up yet. But, I’m probably going to take most of what I can.”
The other schools Gunn is considering are Nebraska, UCLA, Colorado, Kansas, Iowa State and Iowa.
