Gunn set to make first official visit

Omaha (Neb.) Central running back Brandon Gunn has lined up his first official visit.
“I’m going to visit K-State for their game against Colorado on Oct. 18,” the 5-foot-11, 190-pound Gunn said. “It is the only official visit I have lined up so far.”

The Wildcats are not only the first school the three-star rated running back will visit, they have emerged as his leader.
“I like K-State,” he said. “I like they way they have turned around their program. I don’t know what else it is, but I just like them. I think it could be a good fit.”
No new schools have jumped into the race for Gunn’s talents.
“Nobody new has even called,” he said. “It has been the same schools. Nebraska, Kansas State, Kansas, Iowa, Iowa State, UCLA and a few others. The same as always have offered me scholarships too.”
Gunn has taken in a couple games already this fall.
“I went to the first two Nebraska games this fall,” he said. “But, that is all so far. Probably my visit to K-State will be my next game.”
Gunn’s Central squad is having a rough go of it this year.
“It’s not that good so far,” he said. “We are just 1-4. We’ve not played that good. I think I’m doing alright, but I don’t know what my stats are.”
