Gumbita waiting for more offers
Offensive tackle Rob Gumbita out of Mount Pleasant, Pa. claims two scholarships. The 6-foot-4, 298-pounder believes at least a handful of other schools are on the verge of offering in the near future?
"I've got the same offers from Buffalo and Maryland," he said. "I'm staying in touch with Indiana, Duke, Akron, Pittsburgh, West Virginia and Rutgers.

"I'm not exactly sure what they are going to do. I think they want to see some senior film and then go from there."
At this moment, Gumbita is favoring the schools that have offered.
"I like both of the schools that have offered me right now, but I'll consider all the other schools too," he said. "I'm just looking for a good academic school where I'll get a chance to earn some playing time."
The two-star prospect begins the season on Friday.
"Practice is going well," he said. "The team is looking good and coming together. We've put in a new defense which is starting to go pretty well.
"I've improved since last year too. My strength has definitely helped me a lot. I'm moving people off of the ball."
