Gumbita delays official

Mount Pleasant, Pa. offensive tackle Rob Gumbita was scheduled to take his first official visit of the season this past weekend. The 6-foot-4, 298-pounder didn't make it to Buffalo. Has he rescheduled?
"Actually I had to move it back," he said. "I don't have a date set now. It's supposed to be later this month, but it could be in January too."

While he waits to take an official to Buffalo, the two-star prospect is looking at a few other schools.
"A lto of schools like my game tape and have me on their boards," he said. "The thing is they already offered some other kids and are waiting to see what those players do first.
"Some of those teams include Georgia Tech, Pittsburgh, West Virginia and Syracuse."
Does Gumbita have a favorite?
"I really like Buffalo right now," he said. "I like the coaching staff up there particularly Coach Gill. They are nice guys and recruit me pretty hard."
The Keystone State lineman played both ways for Mount Pleasant and recorded three sacks on the year on defense.
