Gulley explains decision

Earlier this week Tyson Gulley ended the recruiting process by making a verbal commitment to Syracuse.
The 5-foot-9, 175-pound all-purpose back from Akron (Ohio) Garfield has run the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds and he had a big senior year this fall. Gulley had 167 carries for 932 yards and 17 touchdowns on offense for Garfield, while recording 51 tackles and four interceptions on defense.

He spoke with Rivals.com about how everything went down this past week.
"I had taken an official visit to Syracuse like two weeks ago when they played Rutgers," Gulley explained. "I enjoyed myself a lot up there. I basically went up for the game and I loved the atmosphere. I bonded with the coaches and bonded with the players. I met all the recruits, too. It just all clicked together. I always said I was going to do what felt right, and this was it."
Gulley said he committed to the Orange on Wednesday.
In addition to Syracuse, he held offers from Kansas and a handful of schools in the MAC.
