Hoboken, N.J. safety Ira Guilford has made his decision. He'll be playing his college ball at....
"I'm going to Ohio State," said the 5-foot-11, 183-pounder. "It came down to Notre Dame and Ohio State, but in the end I just felt I was a better fit at OSU. Socially it offers me a lot more and I like the idea of being the next Michael Doss there."
Guilford had offers from more than 40 schools and visited both OSU and Notre Dame as well as Penn State, Rutgers and Syracuse. He's excited about getting started.
"I can't wait," he said. "Playing for the defending national champs is not a bad way to start your college career."
