Grubbs enjoys final visit
Eclectic (Ala.) Elmore County defensive end Ben Grubbs took his third and final official visit to Auburn this weekend.
“I was all right,” Grubbs, who is 6-foot-4 and 255-pounds, said. “I have already been to Auburn a couple of times so I already knew everything about it. My mom went with me and I think she enjoyed it.”

So what did he like about Auburn?
“I really had a good time hanging out with the players at Auburn,” Grubbs said.
“Spencer Johnson was my host and we spent a lot of time together. He is a good guy. He told me that this weekend was not a front they put on for just recruiting. They are always like this – a big family. Everyone is real close.”
Grubbs hopes to have a decision between LSU, Alabama and Auburn later this week.
