Growing offer list for elite Florida back

Among the loaded stable of running backs in the 2010 class in Florida is Miami (Fla.) Central four-star prospect Brandon Gainer. As a junior, Gainer picked up over 1,600 yards on the ground with 17 touchdowns. That effort has landed him several offers with more coming in.
Most recently, Gainer has added offers from Michigan, Tennessee, UCF, Oregon, Rutgers, USF, West Virginia and Clemson. Those schools are added to offers he already held from Florida State and Louisville. Despite the long list, Gainer is in no hurry to make a commitment.

"I'm going to take all of my visits," Gainer said. "I am going to keep an open mind about my choice and most importantly, make the right choice."
The 6-foot-0, 195-pound big back names UCF, USF, Tennessee, Rutgers and Florida State as the schools that are showing him the most interest to this point, but Gainer has three schools of his own that are standing out: Florida State, Louisville and Oregon.
What are the important factors in selecting a program for Gainer?
"Tradition, great academics, and a great coaching staff with conviction," he said.
In terms of education, Florida State is already ahead of the pack in Gainer's eyes. He hopes to study law in college and work in law or education as a career and noted that Florida State is the school that offers what he is looking for on the educational front.
