Grixby not ready to make choice

Omaha (Neb.) Central cornerback Cortney Grixby took his second official vist of the year last weekend to Nebraska. Is he close to following his brother’s footsteps to Lincoln?
“I’m not ready for a decision,” the 5-foot-9, 160-pound Grixby said. “I would say I'm open right now. I have only visited two schools, and I want to visit the other three.”

The other three include UCLA, K-State and Notre Dame.
“I will be visiting UCLA in January. I don’t have a date set, yet. But I will be going out there. I’m going to try and get dates with the other two lined out too.”
Grixby’s brother, DeAntae is currently at Nebraska.
“My brother being there isn’t going to be a big factor,” he said. “I know he has liked it there. But, I will need to make my decision.”
Another factor on Grixby’s mind is a Lincoln Journal-Star report in Sunday’s editions that indicates sources close to athletic director Steve Pederson say Nebraska coach Frank Solich will be asked to resign following Friday’s game at Colorado.
“Whatever happens, happens,” the four-star rated cornerback said. “He hasn’t resigned. He hasn’t been fired. We’ll have to see how that plays out. I would have to see who was there if Coach Solich isn’t. If that happens, I will have a reaction.”
