Grixby down to two, about to announce

"I made an unofficial visit to Nebraska," Cortney Grixby said. "I had already made an official visit there."

"I went back since they have a new coaching staff. I like the staff they've put together. Nebraska's recruiting me as a cornerback."

"I'm all done with my visits now. Nebraska and Notre Dame are my final two."

"I'll decide Monday or Tuesday. I'm not sure right now. I have to talk things over with my family."

The 5-foot-9 and 165 pound Grixby played quarterback and cornerback for Omaha (Neb.) Central, but missed much of his senior season with a hand injury. Grixby made official visits to Nebraska, Notre Dame, Iowa, and Kansas State. He is the Rivals.com number five cornerback prospect with a four star rating.
